Seminars are open to the public and held at Buffalo General bi-weekly at noon. Seminar is located in the D building (gold elevators), 2nd Floor, Cummings Conference Room. Please refer to schedule on the right for seminar dates. All patients MUST bring a support person to seminar.
Monthly evening seminars will be held at The Millennium Hotel , located at 2040 Walden Avenue, Cheektowaga, next to the Galleria Mall. The seminar begins promptly at 5:45 p.m. and guests should arrive by 5:30 p.m. Parking is provided free of charge. Please note, your support person must also attend this seminar.

Meet the Physicians
|Alan Posner, MD, is fellowship- trained in laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Posner was one of the first surgeons in Western New York to offer bariatric surgery using the laparoscopic technique.||Aaron Hoffman, MD, joined the bariatric program in 2007 and was named medical director in November of 2011. He is fellowship-trained in the laparoscopic surgery technique and bariatric surgery.|
|John Butsch, MD, joined the bariatric program in 2009. He performed laparoscopic bariatric surgery for several years in Chicago, IL prior to joining the program at Buffalo General Medical Center.|
