How do I sign up for the MyKaleida Patient Portal?
A registrar can enroll you in the MyKaleida portal. Just stop by with a picture ID and your email address at Patient Registration. You will be sent an email invitation with instructions on how to complete your enrollment.

What can I do with the MyKaleida Patient Portal?
You are able to view your medical information and link to health education sites.

What information can I see in the portal?
The portal displays test results, vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, pulse oximetry, height, and weight), allergies, your medication list, your list of medical problems, depart summary, patient instructions, discharge instructions/summaries, patient education, and any upcoming Kaleida Health appointments.

What test results can I see in the portal?
Lab results, final microbiology results, radiology reports and pathology reports are available. Certain test results such as HIV and genetic testing may be excluded based on New York State law.

Will I be able to see information from my visit last year?
Yes. Most health information will post immediately.

Can I enter my own information into my electronic record?
No. MyKaleida is currently designed for viewing only.

Can I give my adult child access to my portal?
Yes. An adult patient may designate another individual to have proxy access to their portal account. This can be done in person at Patient Registration.

Can I see my child's medical information?
Yes. Parents and legal guardians can be granted proxy access to their children's portal accounts upon request up to and including age 12. No proxy access will be given for patients aged 13-17 years. Prior to the minor's 13th birthday, you will receive a notification email stating that the account will be disabled.

Is my health information protected?
Yes. No one has access to your portal unless you authorize it.

What are the abbreviations next to the medication list?
Please see Medical Abbreviations for a complete listing.

Can I send my provider/clinic a message?
Yes. You can send through the message option at the top of the MyKaleida portal.

Can I schedule appointments?
Yes. You can schedule through the appointments option in the MyKaleida portal. You can also view any upcoming appointment at Kaleida Health.

Can I request medication refills?
Yes. You can request through the medications option in the MyKaleida portal.

Why is my provider/clinic not listed to send messages to?
At this time, not all providers/clinics have the ability to accept messages from the portal. If your provider/clinic is not listed, please call the clinic directly.

How do I send information to another provider?
The share record feature allows you to transmit your health information to a different provider or organization.

  • Downloading your record: Select the appropriate encounter, click the download icon, and save to your device.
  • Sending your record: The envelope icon located to the right of your reason for visit will prompt you to send your record. NOTE: You will need a direct email address for the provider you wish to send to (this cannot be a Gmail, Yahoo, or Exchange email address).

Who do I call for help with the portal?
If you are experiencing problems with the portal, please call (877) 621-8014. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I cancel an account?
