WCHOB Names Nurse Leader for Mother-Baby Units
Roselle Atzrott, RN, BSN, CLC, CCE has been named nurse leader of the Mother-Baby Units at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
In this role, Roselle will oversee operations of the units including staffing, training, supply and equipment needs and policy compliance. She will also prepare financial reports and develop, monitor and implement department policies and procedures in addition to the management and oversight of department projects and program development.
“Roselle has a diverse skill set, which will be of great benefit to Women & Children’s Hospital and our patients,” said Linda Hubbard, director, women’s services. “I look forward to the contributions she will make as a new member of our leadership team.”
Prior to this appointment, Roselle served as clinical nurse manager of a 10 bed obstetrical unit and five bed labor and delivery unit at Brooks Memorial Hospital where she provided leadership to approximately 21 FTEs. She also led the 14-bay dialysis unit and its approximately 18 FTEs.
Roselle previously worked as a Breastfeeding Coordinator and Supervisor of the WIC Program in Chautauqua County, a registered nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit at Brooks Memorial and a Nursing Supervisor at Nazareth Nursing Home. She began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lakeshore Hospital.
Roselle is certified as a childbirth educator, lactation counselor and facilitator for the Baby & Me Tobacco Free Program, and is certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
A resident of Fredonia, Roselle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from D’Youville College and a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from Daemen College.
