This past April the NICU at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo participated in the March of Dimes "March for Babies", an annual walk designed to raise money and awareness about prenatal care and premature births.

Each year Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital partners with Unyts to hold a community blood drive to educate and encourage individuals to donate blood. This year Mylinda McCrady, lead staffing coordinator in nursing administration at Millard Suburban, shares her personal story of how blood donation helped keep her son Braiden alive, as he battled against the odds when born 16 weeks premature.
