Waters Named Medical Director of OCH Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program and Director of Regional Perinatal Program

Thaddeus P. Waters, MD, who joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has been named medical director for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program and medical director for the Regional Perinatal Program at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH).
In addition, Dr. Waters was appointed as the Amol S. Lele, MD, clinical professor and chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Waters previously served as director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, director of Labor and Delivery and co-director of the Perinatal Center at Rush University in Chicago.
Under Dr. Waters leadership, the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program will continue to grow and enhance access to specialized care and innovative treatments for women throughout the Western New York region.
Dr. Waters completed his medical degree and residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
