Shannon Bryant, LMHC, has been named chief diversity and inclusion officer for Kaleida Health following a national search.
Bryant joins Kaleida Health from Person Centered Services, a Care Coordination Organization (CCO) that connect individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to the care, support and opportunities that maximize their quality of life. There, she served as director of learning, development and diversity and was responsible for creating and driving the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.

Bryant will also work with Kaleida Health’s multidisciplinary, employee-driven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) – Race, Diversity & Inclusion, Veterans and LGBTQ – and the system-wide Inclusion Council to bring important issues to Human Resources and the executive team to help drive strategic priorities and cultural transformation.
“We are thrilled to have Shannon on board to further cement our commitment to becoming a more diverse and inclusive place to work and receive care,” said Jody Lomeo, president and CEO. “While we have certainly made progress on diversifying our workforce and partnering with organizations that serve diverse communities here in Western New York, we continue to strive to do more. Shannon’s experience and leadership will help guide us through these conversations about how we can promote diversity, inclusion and engagement within our organization and the communities we serve.”
Bryant holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and master’s degree in health counseling from Canisius College. She is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Leadership Buffalo graduate and board member of the Neighborhood Health Center of WNY as well as the YMCA Delaware Branch.
