WCHOB Relocates Three Programs on East Side

Updated: 11/2/2005

Effective Monday, Oct. 31, the Parents and Children Together (PACT) Program, Youthlink and Towne Garden Pediatrics - formerly Jesse Nash Pediatrics, each providing services to children and their families in the City of Buffalo and surrounding communities throughout Western New York, will be relocated to the Town Garden Plaza, 461 Williams Street, Buffalo, NY 14204.

“By locating these programs within the community they serve, we are improving access to health care services for an often underserved population.  The new clinic offers larger, brighter spaces and more modern facilities,” said Maureen Heimerl, Director of Ambulatory Services, WCHOB.

The PACT Program provides primary medical care and case management services to children ages 0-12 years who are exposed to illicit drugs and alcohol in utero. Primary care, specialty care and case management services are also provided to HIV infected children and HIV exposed children.

Youthlink was created when the Division of Adolescent Medicine and the PACT Program came together to serve young people at risk or living with HIV/AIDS with health care and case management services.  Youthlink services for adolescents ages 13-24 years, however, will continue to be located at Women & Children’s Hospital, 140 Hodge Street entrance on the second floor.

Towne Garden Pediatrics is a pediatric primary health care clinic for children scheduling sick and well child visits.

These programs will be open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The new main phone number to call to schedule appointments or to otherwise contact each of these programs is (716) 852-1578.
