On Tuesday, October 19, Dr. Jason Davies operated live out of the Gates Vascular Institute via telemedicine to the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) during the 2021 CNS Annual Meeting in Austin, TX. Dr. Elad Levy was in Austin to moderate the surgery.

Stella, three years old, was found lifeless at the bottom of her family’s pool after slipping out of her parents’ sight for just a few moments. She was brought to Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) and has since made a full recovery. In appreciation, the family hosted a party for all the staff at OCH and others that helped save Stella’s life and donated toys and clothes back to the hospital.

On September 28, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, vendors and families came together in support of the Chip-in FOR Children’s Golf Tournament. Over $200,000 was raised for Oishei Children’s Hospital! We would like to thank all golfers and sponsors for making this event possible.

Jessica Mabie, MHA, has been promoted to vice president of hospital operations at Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) based on the exceptional performance she has demonstrated over the last six years at OCH and Kaleida Health. 

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose X-ray system to examine breasts. A mammography exam, called a mammogram, is used to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women.

See the Trans-Siberian Orchestra perform at the KeyBank Center on Tuesday, December 21 at 8 p.m. A portion of proceeds will benefit Oishei Children's Hospital.
