Kaleida Health has expanded its testing capabilities, so it is adding essential workers to the list of those who can be tested. Health care workers, first responders and those sickened with Covid-19 had already been eligible for testing.

Kaleida Health announced that starting today at least a dozen patients are being given plasma treatment where the antibodies from someone who has recovered from COVID are transfused into someone who is still fighting COVID.

Kaleida Health today announced that it has expanded its laboratory testing capability for COVID-19, adding essential workers. Those that are in need of a COVID-19 test (symptomatic with fever >100, cough, shortness of breath), can visit the Kaleida Health website (https://www.kaleidahealth.org/coronavirus/#testing) and answer a series of screening questions.
