Breast Surgery Education Class
A class to assist in preparation for breast surgery. The class allows individuals to meet with clinicians trained in oncology care. Provides helpful tips on daily living activities, exercise, nutrition and sleep that can assist with navigating your treatment path and recovery.
***Note: To maintain proper social distancing, each class will accommodate 3 patients and an accompanying support person if they choose. Masks are required.

Community Flu Clinic at DeGraff Medical Park Community Center
A community flu clinic will be held at the DeGraff Medical Park Community Center – 139 Division St. North Tonawanda from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Individuals interested in receiving a flu vaccine should bring their insurance card, no prescription needed. All participants will need to wear a mask. High dose vaccines ‘over 65’ will be available at all clinics; depending on the availability of supply.

Breast Surgery-Informational Class
The class is instructed by oncology trained therapists who will help you prepare for surgery and recovery. Receive a comprehensive folder that includes information on the following topics:
- What to expect before, during and after breast surgery.
- General precautions and suggestions regarding activities of daily living
- Drain instructions – if needed for your surgery
- Exercises to complete before and after surgery
- Lymphedema precautions (arm measurements will be taken in class – please wear a short sleeve top)
- Local resources and support information
