Rehabilitation Services

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies to inpatients.  Outpatient swallowing evaluations are also done on site.

Physical Therapy

Licensed physical therapists evaluate patients' basic mobility and strength and offer treatment programs during hospitalization, when appropriate. 

Occupational Therapy

Licensed occupational therapists evaluate patients' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as their ability to dress and bath themselves, and offer treatment programs during hospitalization, when appropriate.

Speech Therapy

Licensed speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat individuals with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders during hospitalization and offer treatment, when appropriate.

**Outpatient swallowing evaluations are also offered at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.**

Inpatient Rehabilitation Units

For patients requiring additional intensive inpatient rehabilitation, Kaleida Health offers two CARF internationally accredited medical rehabilitation units, with a specialty accreditation in stroke care:
