Friends, colleagues and family gathered recently at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital for a special reception and unveiling in honor of the Newman Family. Kaleida Health leaders recognized and thanked the Newman Family for their long-term guidance and support by officially unveiling “The Newman Family Conference Center.”
Reg Newman served as Chairman for the $5 million fund raising campaign that provided seed money for what became a $64 million expansion and modernization program. According to James R. Kaskie, President & Chief Executive Officer of Kaleida Health, “Just as family has been so important to each member of the Newman family over the last six decades, we want you to know how important you have been to us – that we consider you very important and significant members of our family here at Kaleida Health. Today we celebrate by lending your name to the Conference Center in the new Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital so that we may always remember your wonderful gifts, your generosity and your belief in a hospital in a community that is important to you.”
The Conference Center is used for meetings with physicians and community partners. It allows Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital to welcome its guest into a warm and inviting space.
