The 2003 "Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day" will be a weeklong event co-sponsored by the Black Leadership Forum Near East Side Community Health Task Force and Kaleida Health. In addition, eight other local agencies are also co-sponsoring this event. Each day of the week clinics at 5 sites will be open to those persons without health insurance and no regular source of health care. The visit will include a visit with a health care professional, the opportunity to enroll in health insurance and access to health insurance. The visit will be FREE of charge however space is limited. For reservations call 843-7436.

This Health and Human Services Initiative emphasizes the need to address health disparities of ethnic and racial minorities. The focus of the campaign is to encourage individuals to take charge of their health. Please encourage your loved ones, family members and friends to take advantage of this program.
