Mark Aug. 3 on your calendar. While you’re out running Saturday errands, you might want to make the community health fair, sponsored by Assemblyman James Hayes and featuring close to 20 services and programs of Kaleida Health, one of your stops.

The fair takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Town of Amherst Center for Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway. It is free of charge and open to the public.

Participating departments from Kaleida include the Visiting Nursing Association of WNY, Lifeline, Amherst Adult Day Services, the DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, the Pain Rehab Center of WNY, Buffalo General Hospital Cardiac Rehab, Health Care Proxy, Seasons of Womanhood and the hospital consumer libraries.

Also, Buffalo General Hospital and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Orthopedics, Geriatric Wellness, Therapy Services, the WNY Osteoporosis Resource Center, Laboratory Services, Millard Suburban Endoscopic Gynecology Services and Millard Suburban Volunteer Services.
