Kaleida Health Names Chief Operating Officer for Buffalo General Hospital

Buffalo, NY, April 30, 2002 - Kevin Britt has been appointed Kaleida Health vice president and chief operating officer at Buffalo General Hospital, effective April 29. Britt formerly was senior vice president, program development, at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

At Holy Cross, Britt was responsible for all aspects of hospital operations, as well as a campus-wide capital expansion program for the 583-bed facility. He joined Holy Cross in 1990 as vice president, operations and was named senior vice president eight years later. He was vice president, operations, at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Ind., from 1986 to 1990; vice president, general services, at St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco, from 1984 to 1986, and assistant director of operations at Huron Road Hospital, Cleveland, from 1982 to 1983.

He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Notre Dame and master of business administration and master of hospital administration at Xavier University, Cincinnati.
