Trauma Awareness Day Celebrates Recovery and Healing 2001 Buffalo, NY, April 12, 2001 - The Fourth Annual Trauma Awareness Day, offering a celebration of recovery and healing for victims of sexual abuse, takes place Thursday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at Kaleida Behavioral Health, 80 Goodrich Street adjacent to Buffalo General Hospital. Trauma Awareness Day will emphasize hope and creative healing through a series of inspirational, informal presentations by sexual abuse survivors. Question and answer periods will be included. The program and a light lunch afterwards are provided free of charge and sponsored by Kaleida Health, the Erie County Trauma Task Force and Pfizer, Inc. Counselors will be available following the program.
