Lessons in courage for pediatric cancer doctor, patients

According to Dr. Martin Brecher, Chief, Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute,  “The word ‘cancer’ still strikes terror in people, but I would want them to know how much progress has been made, that things are changing rapidly and we’re much more optimistic in our approach with patients.”
