Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo launched the Oishei Children’s Hospital Lullaby Contest. In keeping with Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo’s time-tested tradition of playing the Brahms’ Lullaby to celebrate the birth of every baby born within hospital walls, Oishei Children’s Hospital is launching a four-week search for a Western New Yorker’s take on the iconic melody.

The trauma center at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (WCHOB) has been verified as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center by the Verification Review Committee (VRC), an ad hoc committee of the Committee on Trauma (COT) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This achievement recognizes the trauma center's dedication to providing optimal care for injured patients.

Assemblyman Ray Walter (R,C,I-Amherst) marked the conclusion of his annual Christmas in July Toy Drive on July 24, delivering hundreds of donated toys to the Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
