51st Annual Variety Kids Telethon Airs Sunday, March 24
2013 Gold Health Collectible Pins on Sale to Benefit the Telethon
The theme this year’s Telethon is Help Our Kids Achieve Their Dreams & Goals.
Emily Klima, 5, who was admitted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit immediately after birth and now followed by the RobertWarnerCenter for Children With Special Needs, is this year’s Variety Kids Telethon Celebrity Child. The Telethon will be hosted by Honorary Chairpersons Joanna Pasceri and Keith Radford, co-anchors of Channel 7’s Eyewitness News. Michael A. Benevento is the General Chairperson.
Some of the scheduled entertainment that will perform throughout the 12 hour LIVE telethon will be Clint Holmes, Las Vegas Superstar and Farnham, NY native, The Scintas, Buffalo and Western New York’s First Family of Music, Terry Buchwald, Buffalo’s Best Elvis, Ilene Graff, Broadway Singer/Actress, and “Howard” from Mr. Food’s Test Kitchen.
Funds raised by the Variety Kids Telethon benefit Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo,the Robert Warner M.D. Center For Children With Special Needs and other Western New York children charities.
Since 1956, The Robert Warner, MD, Center for Children with Special Needs of Women & Children's Hospital has been providing comprehensive rehabilitation services consisting of diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic services to children in Western New York and surrounding areas with known or suspected disabilities
