Two Decision Support and Business Intelligence staff promoted
Jennifer Sylvester, who served as business advisor for Millard Suburban, is now director of finance for Millard Fillmore Suburban and DeGraff Memorial Hospitals. In this capacity she will support the site presidents with product line planning, business development, capital budgets and other financial projects, while continuing to manage the MFS EEG Department and the MFS Infusion Center. The promotion aligns Jennifer’s extensive finance and business experience with the growing need for site financial advisory support.
Christine Lanza will now serve as director of financial performance planning and reporting, responsible for manager financial on boarding training, department financial reporting and training, and operating budget service line planning. She will also manage the business advisors who support site finance directors and continue in her present business advisory role with the Outreach Lab. Christine’s 15 years of progressively expanded finance experience makes her an exceptional fit for meeting the challenges posed by the increasing complexity of budget planning and reporting. Most recently she worked as business advisor for DeGraff and the Kaleida Health Laboratories and as the manager for decision support.
Jennifer Sylvester earned a bachelor of arts and masters in business administration from the State University at Buffalo. Prior to joining Kaleida Health, she served Rich Products Corporation and then Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY.
Christine Lanza earned a bachelor of science in accounting from the State University at Buffalo. Previous to her present position she served as senior accountant, cost accountant/contract writer and budget analyst. She worked for the Town of Cheektowaga as an accountant before joining Kaleida Health.
