Released: 1/24/2005

BUFFALO, NY - Hodge Pediatrics, providing primary health care services for children at 125 Hodge Street directly across from Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, will expand clinic hours beginning January 31, 2005 by remaining open during the evening for patient families unable to schedule appointments during the day.

Managed by the Division of General Pediatrics at Women & Children’s Hospital, Hodge Pediatrics is now open for patient visits during the following:

- Monday - Thursday from 8:30am to 8:00 pm
- Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

“It’s vital for children and their families within the City of Buffalo to receive primary health services, including regular check ups, immunizations and other preventive care provisions,” said Harry Laws, M.D., Chief, Division of General Pediatrics at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.  “By expanding into evening hours, we help make it easier for families to visit our pediatric clinic and all the pediatric sub-specialists at Women & Children’s Hospital if necessary, and thereby improve the health of children in the surrounding community.”

The Division of General Pediatrics at Women & Children’s Hospital also manages pediatric outpatient clinics at the West Side Health Center, 327 Niagara Street in Buffalo, and the Jesse Nash Health Center, 608 William Street in Buffalo.
