The Department of Pediatric Orthopedics is comprised of fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic surgeons, experienced in the care of infants, children and young adults with musculoskeletal problems, both congenital and acquired. Pediatric orthopedics provides treatment for fracture care, spine, all congenital and developmental deformities of the upper and lower limbs, and sports-related injuries.

Orthopedic problems associated with neuromuscular disorders, such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and muscular dystrophy, are also treated. Ancillary services include a full spectrum of customized orthotic devices and collaboration with physical and occupational therapies to maximize function.

The Pediatric Orthopedics team treats:

  • Fractures, upper and lower limbs and spine
  • Joint injuries
  • Ligament tears and muscular strains/sprains
