Robotic Surgery
What is robotic surgery?

During robotic surgery, the surgeon sits at a control console where a 3-D, HD monitor displays a magnified view of the surgical field. The robot is positioned over the patient and controlled entirely by the surgeon’s movements from the console.  Because the robot is computerized, it provides far greater precision, flexibility and control than a human hand. The surgeon is in complete control of the robot and its movements at all times.
