Pharmacy Services - Inpatient
The Pharmacy Department utilizes the latest in automated technology to assist in optimizing and monitoring patients' medication. Physicians may order pharmacy to monitor antibiotic therapy. An anticoagulation service is also offered that doses and monitors all warfarin (Coumadin) administrations.
Clinical coordinators, on staff at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy, perform ICU and Family Medicine rounds with a multidisciplinary team and are recognized experts in their field.
Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital is a teaching institution with pharmacy residents, as well as many students from UB's School of Pharmacy.
