Special Needs Clinic

The Special Needs Clinic of Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo is where children with chronic medical conditions and/or developmental disabilities have been receiving primary care since 1998.

Our highly specialized team delivers complete, family-centered care.

Mission Statement

We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to children with special needs and functioning as advocates to ensure they receive the highest standard of care.

Coordinated Services

Patients with special needs may require follow-up with several doctors for extended periods of time.

Our team strives to coordinate with other specialists to form a plan of care that addresses all of your child’s health care needs.

The successful coordination of medical care often reduces the number of doctor visits, tests, ER visits and even hospitalizations.
