Neuromuscular Disease

There are over 40 different types of neuromuscular conditions, and an accurate diagnosis is critical. Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo physicians use numerous evaluations to correctly diagnosis patients, such as conducting a thorough medical history and clinical evaluation, electrodiagnostic studies, blood samples, genetic studies, and possibly a muscle or nerve biopsy.
