Research
Research can lead to advancements in understanding and treating autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). There are many opportunities to gain knowledge from as well as participate in local and national research. The following are a few research sites that may be of interest to you:
Interactive Autism Network
Since 2007, the Interactive Autism Network (IAN) has brought together tens of thousands of families affected by autism spectrum disorders and researchers from around the world to advance autism research, interpret findings, and empower advocates. IAN is a project of the Kennedy Krieger Institute and funded by Autism Speaks and the Simons Foundation. IAN also has a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
