Nutrition Services
Good health starts with good nutrition. DeGraff Memorial Hospital's Nutrition Services department provides inpatient and outpatient education to ensure proper nutrition is being received. The Nutrition Services department is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals based on American Dietetic Association Guidelines that will aid patients in their recovery process. Every effort is made to provide foods that are delicious as well as healthful, especially for patients with special dietary needs.This department also provides nutritional consultation and education for patients who must alter their diet to accommodate special conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease. They are available to answer questions, provide personal consultation and/or arrange for an outpatient appointment after discharge.
