Information Session for Parents of Children Newly Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Your child has just been given a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). What does that mean? What should you do next? Are you overwhelmed? This training will give you an understanding of ASDs and discuss next steps for you and your family. Information about available services and supports from the school system and community will be provided. You will learn how to communicate and work together to help your child reach his/her full potential.
