Welcome to the Bariatric program at Buffalo General Medical Center, proudly serving morbidly obese patients from the United States and Canada. The Bariatric program is recognized as a designated American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Center of Excellence, meaning all aspects of the program’s surgical processes were closely examined and data on health outcomes was collected during a site inspection.
Our program is fully accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program and is comprised of a highly skilled, compassionate team and ready to serve patients’ weight loss needs. For more information, click on the links to the left.
Weight loss surgery seminars are open to the public and held at Buffalo General bi-weekly on Thursdays at noon.
