Addiction Clinics

Buffalo General Medical Center's Addiction Clinics provide outpatient assessment and treatment to individuals and families suffering from alcohol or drug addictions are available. All clinics are certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the staff works closely with physicians, community agencies and the criminal justice system.

• Dual diagnosis groups
• HIV education, linkage for HIV testing
• Individual, group and aftercare counseling
• Linkage to detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation and mental health treatment
• Referral for medical services
• Relapse prevention
• Vocational assessment, linkage and referral
• Women's track of treatment

Referrals are accepted from private physicians, hospital clinics, Erie County Department of Social Services, employers and the criminal justice system.
